Viking: Battle for Asgard is a single-player hack and slash, action-adventure video game developed by The Creative Assembly and published by Sega. The game was released on March 25, 2008 in North America, on March 27, 2008, and on March 28, 2008 for Xbox 360 and PS 3. On October 17, 2012, Viking: Battle for Asgard full version game was released for Microsoft Windows.
Gameplay / Walkthrough:
Viking: Battle for Asgard free game has an open-world experience. If you have searched your fellow Viking soldiers, they will help you in battles. The way you combat is quite different, where you combat every foe one-on-one rather than in groups. You are not allowed to carry out a clearing attack so as to eradicate enemies; instead you can finish them one by one, meaning that being encircled is a way more danger than earlier.
There is a large variety of settlements during which you can attack and capture. If you have accomplished your missions in each island, you must combat a big battle that proves to be a major siege or a clash between great armies. The main feature of Viking: Battle for Asgard full game is the great armies – in several battles there are possibly hundreds of thousands of soldiers combating until last breath.
There are several ways for you to use, so as to weaken your enemy – for example, finishing their shaman, who calls enemy battalions, or involving in the major combat and utilize fighting moves and combos, in order to finish enemy soldiers and champions, who throw dragon runes. If you use these runes, it will result in summoning the dragons to finish enemies up in the air, thus eradicating them. A hack-and-slash system has been used in the game. Viking: Battle for Asgard has graphic major violence.
